MBS-ProClose provides MERS InvestorID Mortgage Loan Transfer Notice Service

REMINDER: Announced September 1, 2011, MERS will no longer provide their Mortgage Loan Transfer Notice Service. Anyone using this service must have another method in place by November 1, 2011. MERS originally introduced the service back in 2009 to comply with the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009. The Act required the new owner of a note to notify the borrower in writing within 30 days of the transfer of ownership.  While some MERS members may have created their own solution, MBS-ProClose is happy to provide a solution to our ProClose clients.
